Where to Get Narcan in Florida If you want to keep naloxone on hand, you can obtain it at a Florida pharmacy—such as at CVS, Walmart, or Walgreens—without a prescription. Other places to get naloxone in Florida include: • Publix Pharmacies. Narcan is available over-the-counter, without a prescription, at Publix locations across Florida. • IDEA Exchange, a Miami harm reduction organization that provides services including free naloxone to the community.
IDEA Exchange operates both at a main site and a mobile unit. • I Save Florida, a website from the Florida Department of Children and Families that offers an easy online naloxone finder, as well as training on how to use various types of naloxone. ** Narcan and Rivive are brand names for naloxone that come in the form of an easy-to-administer nasal spray and delivers a prefilled dose of the medication.
